Unused CSS Report Viewer

How to use it

1. Run the script. If you have not yet, download it and read the quick start.

   php unused_css.php https://example.com/

2. Find report.json. It is in the unused-css-your-site folder the script created, next to where you ran the command.
3. Drop it on the box above, or click the box and choose the file.

What you will see

• Warnings first. If the crawl was cut short, pages failed or stylesheets were not checked, they are shown at the top. Treat the list as candidates, not facts, when there are warnings.
• Headline numbers. Pages and source files read, stylesheets analysed, selectors checked and how many are unused, and the number of unused class names and ids.
• The possible saving. How much smaller your CSS would be if every flagged selector were removed. It is a best case.
• Stylesheets. Each stylesheet with its share of unused selectors. Open one to see its unused classes, ids and the selectors that would be removed. Sort by most unused selectors, largest saving or name. Tick Hide stylesheets with nothing to remove to leave out the ones that are already clean. The viewer remembers your choice in your browser.
• All unused names. Every unused class and id across the site, with a filter box and a copy button.
• Pages that could not be read. Each address and the reason, one per row, when a crawl hit errors.
